Just like at previous clinics, the Association for Water Polo Referees (BVWS) once again used the AXIWI communication systems at the 2023 KNZB Super Cup. This was once again a great success. Everything shows that Axitour with AXIWI wants to ensure a successful event by facilitating the right and appropriate technology. During the clinic, premier league referee Mark Hendriks and international referee Rik Evers provided commentary on the match via the AXIWI AT-350 communication system to other water polo referees.
As speakers, the two top referees focused on how the match referees tried to maintain control over the game. They also gave examples of how they would resolve certain game situations and explained the specific rules instructions for this season based on the match. Some listeners could break into the line when they had questions. Others could listen in and learn from what was discussed by Mark and Rik.
Coaching in the moment
The great advantage of this system is that during a match, as a referee coach, you can give direct feedback to referees. Experience shows that ‘in-the-moment coaching’ is very valuable for talented referees to learn important lessons as quickly as possible. This would not have been possible without the AXIWI system.
Sound quality
All participants of the clinic unanimously stated in the evaluation that the sound quality was of very high quality and that the system is very user-friendly. The AXIWI systems are certainly recommended; they are user-friendly and good service is provided with concrete operating instructions.
The BVWS will use AXIWI much more frequently in the future!
On behalf of the BVWS,
